Customs coordination

Customs clearance, coordinated for you.

We coordinate clearance with your customs broker, or with a licensed customs broker we work with, so the handoff from port to Orange County happens without you chasing it across time zones.

  • Work with your broker

Already have a broker? We coordinate with them on timing, documents and delivery.

  • Or one we work with

No broker yet? We connect you with a licensed customs broker we work with.

  • Documents in order

We help make sure commercial invoices and packing lists match what arrives.

  • Port to Orange County

Delivery from the port or terminal to us, arranged with your forwarder or by us.

  • Regulated goods

Shipments that need extra filings are flagged at the quote stage.

  • When something is held

If cargo is held or refused, Shipment Recovery helps you work out the next steps.

Abanro is not a licensed customs broker and does not act as importer of record. Customs entries are filed by a licensed customs broker.

In detail

Every import into the U.S. needs a customs entry filed by a licensed customs broker, and an importer of record. Abanro is neither. What we do is make sure the handoff from port to warehouse works: we coordinate with your broker, or connect you with a licensed broker we work with, and arrange delivery to us in Orange County.

For regulated products such as food or cosmetics, extra filings can apply at import. We flag them at the quote stage so your broker has what they need. If a shipment is already held, see Shipment Recovery or Export SOS.

Who it's for

  • Sellers shipping to the U.S. for the first time
  • Importers whose broker and warehouse don't talk to each other
  • Brands with food, supplements or cosmetics

What to send us first

  • Commercial invoice and packing list
  • Your broker's contact, if you have one
  • Product category and HS codes if known

How it's priced

Coordination is quoted to the shipment. Broker fees, duties and taxes are paid to the broker or U.S. Customs, not to Abanro.

Questions

Are you a customs broker?

No. Abanro is not a licensed customs broker and does not act as importer of record. Entries are filed by a licensed customs broker: yours, or one we work with. We coordinate the process so your goods move from the port to us without you chasing several parties.

Who is the importer of record?

Every import into the U.S. needs one. It's usually your company, acting through a customs broker, or a party you appoint. Your broker can advise on the right setup for your goods.

Who pays duties and taxes?

Duties, taxes and broker fees are paid to the broker or U.S. Customs, not to Abanro. Our coordination is quoted separately.

What about food, supplements and cosmetics?

These can need extra filings or registrations at import. We review each shipment at the quote stage and tell you what your broker will need.
